How Do You Know What Colors to Use for My 3 D Rendering?

Your 3d renderings can have almost as many color schemes as you can imagine. We determine the color scheme to use based on your unique requirements and examples of other renderings you like.

Your 3d renderings can have almost as many color schemes as you can imagine. We determine the color scheme to use based on your unique requirements and examples of other renderings you like.

A complete 3D rendering requires the effective use of different colors to pull it altogether. When it comes to your project, you need to know that the colors used are complementary to the look that you want to achieve and that they are an accurate representation of what’s possible. It’s understood that you may be concerned about how a company chooses colors for a rendering. Today we want to share some information about how we use and decide on colors in 3D renderings so you feel more comfortable with the process.

Beginning the Project

When we start a new rendering project with a client, we ask them to send us a few reference pictures of how they want their rendering to look. They may have it all sketched out in detail or may just have a picture in their head that they have a hard time explaining. In this case, we ask them to simply do a Google search.

For example, if it's a living room, simply search Google for living room with modifying keywords (for example modern living room, contemporary living room, luxury living room are some good searches for the style you're looking for) and send us the image that best matches the look you're thinking of for your 3D rendering view.

If you're hiring us to do an exterior of a house, simply search Google for log cabin, white stucco home, or whatever the style is that you're looking for and we'll make yours look the same as the example image you send us. Searching for images on Google can sound like it'll take a while to find the perfect image to send us, but it usually only takes our clients 2-3 minutes to find one as there are millions available and adding keywords to your search can really narrow down what you're looking for.

When the Project Doesn’t Have a Clear Example

If for some reason, we don’t have a clear example of what you have in mind for color choices and style for your project, we can still do your 3D rendering in color and create something that you’re happy with. In this instance we can rely on color palettes or your explanation of the color scheme you would like to use.

The important thing to remember is that we have a team of professionals that create 3D renderings and work in the design world for a living. Our designers understand how to pair colors, what works for what types of renderings (and what doesn't), and how to read and exceed our clients’ expectations.

If, for some reason, your project comes back to you and you don’t like the colors that our designers chose, we can always revise it to create a final product that accurately represents your project.

We are confident that our professionals here at 3DRenderQuickly can handle all of your 3D rendering color needs. Submit your files today to info@render3DQuickly.com and get a quote in 10 minutes or less and you’re one step closer to having the finished project, amazing colors and all.
